v0.0.83 is out!
We’ve made some big UI changes to Hyprnote! Below are the key updates you should know about:
Floating Button Tab -> Note Header Tab
We replaced the floating button at the bottom (used for switching between AI-summarized note and raw note) with a top note header tab.
Now, you can easily switch between Summary, Memos (your rough notes), and the Transcript for each meeting—all in one place.
image
This also means you can edit and view your transcript in a wider editor window with more editing capabilities.
image
Right Panel -> Dedicated to the Chat
Since the transcript has moved into the main editor, the right panel is now fully dedicated to AI Chat. We hope this makes the chat feature more accessible and easier to use.
image
We’ve also redesigned the chat panel so that Hyprnote can dynamically recommend actions based on context—such as whether the meeting has started, who’s attending, and more.
Local Search in Summary, Memos, and Transcript (Cmd + F)
Previously, search & replace was only available in the transcript panel.
Now, you can use it in all views—Summary, Memos, and Transcript. Just press Cmd + F to quickly find or replace any term.
image
In any of the document you are viewing, just press Cmd + F if you want to look for or replace any terms.
Share Button Back to the Top Toolbar
image
We’ve moved the Share button back to its original location—on the top toolbar, right next to the Chat button.
For more details on the new UI, please refer to the launch video above. If you run into any glitches or issues while using Hyprnote with the updated UI, let us know—we want to make this experience as smooth as possible for everyone, as quickly as possible.
Others
  • Limited log size so it doesn’t grow indefinitely and impact performance.
That's it for v0.0.83! See you soon!
v0.0.82 is out!
  • Fixed title/tag generation
  • Exa tool payload reduction
  • Deepgram/Parakeet punctuation/formatting fix: You’ll now correctly see capital letters and numbers in your transcriptions!
  • Deepgram multi-language support fix: You can now use multiple languages for transcription through the Deepgram API. You can select different languages in the General tab in the settings window.
image
  • Pro model out of beta: We’ve finally stabilized the performance and reliability issues of our Pro Parakeet models :)
  • Enhanced Chat UI (+internal migration to Vercel AI SDK UseChat): We’ve migrated our Chat system to use Vercel’s UseChat. This gives us better UI handling, especially for tool-calling in Chat. image
v0.0.81 is out!
  • Audio Reliability Fix
: We received many reports about the audio pipeline not working correctly in the last version. We’re truly sorry for the inconvenience and have rolled out a hotfix. There may still be lingering bugs, but we’ll track them down and fix them as quickly as possible.
  • Transcript Editor Slight UI Change
  • Transcript Editor Search & Replace Fix
: Previously, when you used “search & replace” in the transcript editor, you had to manually click save for the changes to stick. That was unintuitive and frustrating. In v0.0.81, replacements are now saved automatically.
  • Disclaimer
: Due to some maintenance work, auto title generation and tagging may not work. We are aware of this issue, but still decided to roll out v0.0.81 because we believe the audio pipeline and transcription are a higher priority.

and...
We understand that some of our recent versions may have felt buggy or unstable. We’re truly sorry about that, and we’re deeply grateful to those of you who continue to stick with our product, our values, and our community. We promise to keep improving so that you won’t regret supporting us and so that you can feel proud to be our user.
We are a team of three, and sometimes we break things while trying to move fast. That is entirely our mistake. We can’t guarantee we’ll never make mistakes again, but we can assure you that no matter what happens, we genuinely care.
People build software and products for many reasons: for money, for a cause they believe in, or simply because they enjoy it. We build because we believe a good, working product is something
real
. It can make someone’s day a little easier, make them laugh, or help them get through a tough task. That kind of impact, something clearly real, feels rare these days. And that’s why it’s so much more valuable.
We may sometimes fall short in error logging or refactoring, but we never lack spirit and motivation. We will keep listening to your feedback on Discord, through email, QA testing, fixing bugs, and adding new features.
Thank you, and much love to you all.
v0.0.80 is out!
  • Fixed audio issue when using Hyprnote without headphones.
  • Fixed copy transcript button.
  • Added built-in language model (200 MB).
  • Various notification improvements, including dismissing all notifications on main window focus.
  • Other small fixes.
v0.0.79 is out!
New: Context in Custom Templates
We’ve added Context to custom templates!
When users create templates, it’s usually for recurring situations like weekly check-ins or project-specific meetings. In these cases, it’s super helpful if the template can automatically reference past related meeting notes. That’s exactly what the new Context feature does.
With Context, you can link a template to specific tags. For example, if you add the tag ai-glass to a template, every time you use it, Hyprnote will automatically pull in past meeting notes tagged with ai-glass. This way, your summaries aren’t just one-off, they build on the history of that project or meeting.

We’re just getting started with this, and plan to make it even smarter. Your feedback will help shape what comes next!
User ID visible for better troubleshooting
You can now see your unique User ID in the Help & Support tab.
Screenshot 2025-09-19 at 10
The only reason we exposed this is to make troubleshooting easier. As you can see in our codebase, we use platforms like Sentry for logging errors. But since we don’t store any user-specific info like emails, it’s hard for us to know what exact error a user ran into, even when they report a bug.
Now, if you run into an error and share your User ID with us, we can look it up directly in Sentry and see exactly what happened. This helps us fix problems much more effectively.
👉 How you can share it with us:
  • Send us a DM on Discord with your error + User ID
  • Email us at founders@hyprnote.com with your error + User ID
We never see whose ID is whose unless you choose to share it.
Others
  • Speaker audio capture stability fixes + Refactor with Actor system
  • Better handling of echo when doing meetings without headphones
  • Use Vorbis format for saving audio (5-10x compression)
  • Added default ignore list for mic detection notifications (e.g., SuperWhisper, Descript, etc.)
That's it for v0.0.79!
My apologies! We weren’t able to communicate clearly about the changes in version 77. We’ve also just rolled out version 78, so this post will cover updates from both versions!
Use your LM Studio Local Models in Hyprnote (GGUF formats)
Exciting news for local AI enthusiasts and LM Studio users in the Hyprnote community! If you’re running LM Studio on your Mac and have GGUF local models installed, you can now bring them into Hyprnote and use them for summaries and chats.
image
Above is an example of me using LFM2 1.2B, which I installed through LM Studio.
Do-Not-Disturb mode for Notifications
If you have ‘Do Not Disturb’ enabled on your Mac, you now have the option to choose whether Hyprnote notifications appear during DnD mode. Go to the Notifications tab in your settings window to try it out.
image
Enhanced Custom Vocabularies
We fixed some bugs in the ‘Custom Vocabulary’ section of the General settings and made the input area larger so it’s easier to add and edit custom vocabularies.
Custom Vocabularies are words that the LLM takes into account when creating meeting summaries. For example, if your STT keeps transcribing ‘Hyprnote’ as ‘Hypernode,’ adding ‘Hyprnote’ to your Custom Vocabulary increases the chance that the LLM will correctly interpret ‘Hypernode’ as ‘Hyprnote’ in your summaries.
Due to technical limitations,
only LLMs (not STT)
currently use custom vocabularies. Also, custom endpoint/cloud LLMs handle custom vocabularies much better than local models.
image
image
We’ve also made Custom Vocabularies smarter. Now, if you replace word A with word B in the transcript editor, Hyprnote will automatically learn that preference, add word B to your Custom Vocabulary, and adjust to your language for more accurate summaries in the future.
Minor Bug Fixes
We fixed some issues with transcript editor loading speed.
That’s it for versions 77 and 78. See you soon with a more stable release!
v0.0.75 is out!
Enhanced Background Running Control
In recent versions, Hyprnote continued running in the background even after users pressed Cmd+Q, so meeting notifications could be delivered effectively. We realized this behavior might not suit everyone, so it is now configurable. Hyprnote will only keep running in the background after Cmd+Q if you have notifications enabled (such as audio detection or upcoming event detection).
Updated Settings Window – Send Logs for Better Troubleshooting!
image
image
A lot of our users have been experiencing errors (especially audio-related) that cannot be easily debugged. Now we are trying to change that. In the new Settings Window, you can directly visit the file location that stores Hyprnote’s internal logs. When you run into an error, just send us an email (founders@hyprnote.com) or a Discord message with your log attached. This will make it much easier for us to fix your issue.
Mic Detection Ignore List
image
In the Notifications tab of the settings window, you can now choose which apps should be ignored. For example, if you do not want Hyprnote notifications for an upcoming Zoom meeting, you can exclude “zoom.us” from detection.
Manual Check Updates Button
image
Now, even if something breaks during the automatic update toast operation, you can manually check for updates in the settings dropdown. Press “Check Updates” and the toast modal will tell you if there is an available update or not :)
That's it for today!

v0.0.74 is out!
Custom STT Endpoint
image
Just like you can connect to custom LLM endpoints for summarization/chat, you can now connect Hyprnote to external STT endpoints like Deepgram. This is part of our effort to provide maximum control to our users. You decide which AI model you want to use for both transcription and summarization.
Like custom LLM endpoints, a custom STT endpoint is activated when you select the endpoint configuration box and it turns blue.
Better Audio Handling with Zoom Meetings
We heard from users that STT transcription sometimes hallucinates and produces strange results during Zoom meetings. We identified the issue and shipped a fix in this version. Try Hyprnote with your Zoom meetings and let us know how it went!
Auto-Start at Device Login (for notifications)
image
If you want more reliable notifications for your meetings, you can now choose in the settings tab to automatically start Hyprnote when you log in to your device. This allows Hyprnote to run in the background and send you meeting notifications.
Ask AI
  • Ever wondered if a certain part of your summary was actually mentioned in the meeting?
  • Or if it’s factually correct?
  • Or maybe you just want to re-edit it?
Now, alongside Source Analysis, when you scroll over a section in your meeting summary, you can directly ask questions about that part using the AI chat. Simply click the "Ask AI" button.
image
Copy Template
Pro users can now duplicate and edit built-in templates to fit their needs. Just click the "Duplicate" button on any built-in template you’re viewing, and it’s done.
image
image
That's it for v0.0.74! Thank You :)
v0.0.72 is out!
Pro STT Models available
image
We had to fix some bugs to bring Pro STT models back, but now they are here!
To learn how to activate and use Pro models in detail, please refer to the v0.0.69 changelog.
New Meeting Notifications
image
We have enabled both types of notifications now.
When your mic is in use or you have an upcoming event in your calendar, you will see notifications that let you click and open Hyprnote right away :)
Enhanced Backlink Experience
image
We are always thinking of ways to make it easier for our users to manage and link various notes in the most intuitive way.
Starting with this update, if you backlink another note in your current note and click the backlink, you will be able to see the linked note in a separate mini-window.
This will help you access and compare topics or conversations from past meetings more easily without leaving the current note you are working on.
Start Hyprnote to record your meeting more quickly
We want to make it as easy as possible for users to start Hyprnote during back-to-back meetings. As part of that effort, we made a keyboard shortcut for you. When you press Cmd+Opt+H, Hyprnote will automatically pop up and start recording your meeting.
image
Disclaimer: For now, the keyboard shortcut and notifications only work when Hyprnote is still running on your computer. If you have completely quit Hyprnote (Cmd+Q), they will not work. We are figuring out a way for you to use these even when Hyprnote is not running.
"At seventy, I could follow what my heart desired, without transgressing what was right." - Confucius
We are excited to announce that Hyprnote has reached version 70.
Upcoming Meetings Notification
You can now enable notifications for upcoming meetings in the settings tab. Once enabled, you will receive notifications for upcoming events even when Hyprnote is not open in the main window. By clicking on the notification, Hyprnote will open automatically so you can quickly begin recording your meeting.
image
We are continuing to enhance this feature. Soon, notifications will also appear when audio is detected, allowing you to capture unscheduled meetings with ease.

For HyprCloud Users - your AI Chat just got smarter
Now in AI Chat, if you are using HyprCloud as your LLM provider, you can call tools that enhance your meeting notes with external information from the web.
Currently, HyprCloud provides tools that can search the web (Exa) and read URLs (Jina AI), so you can:
  • prepare for meetings in advance by gathering information about a person or company
  • enrich your meeting notes afterward by adding real-world context
We are continuing to expand the HyprCloud toolset so your AI Chat experience keeps getting smarter.
